HOW IT WORKS / FAQ

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

How Do I Nominate My Foal For The Royal Crown & How Much Does It Cost?

There are no nomination fees in the Royal Crown. If your horse is sired by a current Royal Crown stallion, you just need to enter the event! If the stallion was bought in but is no longer in, check our lifetime eligibility to see if it applies to your foal.

Does My Horse Have To Be Sired By A Royal Crown Stallion To Compete?

Our open, senior and youth are open to everyone. We have a side-pot off of those two for royal crown horses only. Our slot race is open to everyone. Our futurity and derby is for horses sired by Royal Crown stallions only.

Can I Bring A Horse To The Royal Crown Sale?

Yes! Our horse sale is open to all consignors as long as your horse is sired by a Royal Crown stallion or bred to a Royal Crown stallion.

If I Can't Make It To An Event, Am I Able To Get A Refund?

I'm sorry, but there are absolutely no refunds! You may sell your spot!

What Is A Junior Stallion?

A junior stallion is one that has no offspring of age to run yet. These stallions are allowed to choose a senior stallion (with the stallion owners consent) to try to win some money back and not be completely out their $12,500. This gives the Junior stallion advertising and anything bred to that stallion while he is paid in, will be eligible for life for the Royal Crown if they are bought in.
